Prayer for Tom and Di Hallas
This week let us pray for Tom and Di Hallas. Tom, who is the YWAM director for Asia Pacific has been asked to take on more responsibility in YWAM and join what is called Team 3 with John Dawson, Iain Muir, and Lynn Green. This may mean more traveling and Tom has health issues. Also, pray for Di as she will be traveling quite a bit more this coming year with Tom to speak in places such as Pakistan, Thailand, and Bangahladesh about exposing the myths that says one sex is more valuable, more viable, more powerful and smarter than the other.

New Custer Ministries Prayer Blog
Hi Everyone,
This blog has been set up so we can easily share prayer requests with each other and also post what we are hearing through our prayers. Every Monday, I will post a new prayer request for one of our Ministry Partners that we will focus on praying for that week. In addition I will update this blog with any other requests that come in during the week. But this blog should not be just a one way street. The idea is for us to dialog with each other about what God is saying to us during our times of prayer. Also, we want this to be open to any prayer requests that any reader may have. We want this blog to be a chanel of praying in community! It will be exciting to watch this blog be a journal of what God is doing and how He is moving among us. Let the journey begin!
You will find the previous Prayer requests that were sent via email below. Please feel free to post a comment to any entry.

Pray for Harvest House for Women
This week we felt that we should pray for Harvest House for Women. Beth and I attended a meeting with them Friday night to plan more of the Banquet coming up in November. At this meeting one of the women who had graduated from the program told us that she recommended Harvest House for a $15,000 grant from SafeCo insurance company. SafeCo has seemed very interested in Harvest House and will make their decision on October 19th. Please pray for their decision.
Also let’s pray for this Banquet. Harvest House is continuing to put it all in God’s hands, knowing that it is Him alone that will provide for this banquet. Again, Karen, who is planning the event, said, “if just one person comes to know Christ at the banquet, and we don’t raise even a dollar, then this will be a great success.” At the same time, there is an amazing opportunity for them to raise money to expand their ministry. Sharon, the founder, has already found a great deal on a 15 passenger van. They are praying over this van, which is a great need for them, and praying that God will provide the resources to buy the van.
Beth and I also attended a Church Service in Broomfield where the Harvest House women put on their play “It’s a wonderful life in Christ”. It was very touching to hear the stories of the women and the ministry. They will be performing a short version of this play at the Banquet.
Thanks for keeping the ministries in your prayers.
